ABOUT
ME
I think of myself as a journey master and teacher. I'm just enough ahead to show you the way. As a recovering couch potato, survivor, and ostomate, I know how challenging it can be to choose to move, to hope for better than how it is now.
The human body is humbling, but it's also a teacher of living. I strive to learn from it everyday.
This is me. Hi.
For over three decades, I’ve dedicated my life to unlocking for myself, the real meaning of health - not just surviving, but thriving in a world that often feels overwhelming.

At 22, I was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease, a condition barely understood at the time. Faced with limited medical answers and a body determined to reject the very nourishment I needed, I refused to accept “no solution.” I immersed myself in understanding how healthy bodies digest and thrive, mastering nutrition, digestion, and the subtle art of supporting a resilient body. For 23 years, I fought fiercely to reclaim my life.
In 2007, when I became an ostomate and lost my colon, I thought my challenges might be over — but new battles with osteoporosis and arthritis emerged from years of medication. Rather than surrender, I turned to what felt natural and empowering: nourishing nutrition and Pilates. Within 18 months, I had reversed both conditions, proving to myself and others the transformative power of mindful movement and holistic care.
In 2009, fueled by this passion, I opened my Pilates studio — but teaching wasn’t just about movement for me. I’m a lifelong student of the body’s biomechanics and restorative exercise. Becoming a Restorative Exercise Specialist deepened my understanding of how our bodies move, heal, and rebuild.
Then, in 2017, life threw another curveball: a breast cancer diagnosis. Choosing to live authentically and without reconstruction, I embraced every part of my journey, demonstrating resilience and the courage to redefine what wellness truly means.
If you find yourself asking, Where do I start? How do I reclaim my health, or just feel better than I do? Can I find my strength, my identity? I’ll tell you this: the answer always begins with YOU — honoring your humanity, your miraculous body, and your unique path.
I’m here to help you understand that wellness isn’t just what you do — it’s who you are. Together, we can unlock your body’s potential. From where ever you're starting; you can move forward finding a better, more connected, more you.
